Can anyone help me identify which type I have here? A small cutting was given to me as a gift and I just stuck it in this pot and off she went.

Also, I'm seeing no one else has theirs in a terra cotta pot so I'm guessing I should switch to a glazed ceramic. How much bigger of a pot should I get?

Sorry, I'm pretty new to house plants and I have no idea how you guys know when it's time to repot.
