I am a 23-year-old male weighing 76 kg. My current daily routine includes eating two full meals and one small snack. I usually wake up at 10:00 AM and start my workout at around 10:30 AM without consuming any pre-workout meal or drink—just a little water. I exercise for about one hour.
After my workout, I have lunch around 12:30 PM, which typically consists of a standard Indian meal (about 4 chapatis and one sabji). In the evening, around 6–7 PM, I have a light snack like wafers or similar items. I don’t regularly eat fruits—only about once a week. Dinner is around 10:00 PM, usually similar to lunch (chapati-sabji or sometimes rice with curry). I have recently stopped consuming added sugar and only take natural sources.
However, I’ve been feeling low on energy in the morning before workouts, with poor stamina and lack of muscle “pump.” Since I work out after a long gap (about 12 hours of fasting overnight), I suspect this may be affecting my performance. I also don’t use protein powder due to cost constraints and don’t regularly consume eggs at home due to family restrictions.
Given this routine, I want to improve my energy levels, workout performance, and overall health. Could you suggest a balanced vegetarian diet plan that provides sufficient nutrients and supports my fitness goals?
