Bought the H10 for an aerobic training program that required HR data to ensure staying in Zone 2.
Hoped I could connect the H10 to my phone, activate planned trainings, and have audible HR zone notifications.
All these things need a watch additionally after researching this.
I dont want a watch,
we all have immensely powerful phones practically glued to our hands 24/7...
If the app costs money, and basically just is a conduit for transmitting the information thats already on our phones to the silly watch... why?
Solely because Polar would like to manufacture need for watches..
Bummer business model.
I will be researching alternatives in the HRMs space & take my app subscription money elsewhere. Since that also seems to be a necessity these days...
