Need advice, re: briefing

Run a business; email marketing for brands. A major aspect is briefing and copy writing, for graphic designers.

I’m want to figure out the best template for both, but haven’t got it down yet. I’m doing nearly everything, and now got into delegating design (but, must heavily edit myself)

Graphic design is one of the time consuming parts, but extremely important - need advice if there is a better way to brief and designs that don’t require me to overhaul the design each time.

I am picky, and type A, proper alignment, design variations, clean elements all matter to me. And more, I can spend a whole day creating a single email with all the tweaks and testing that I consider.

For designers, what is the best brief style / template you received that keeps both ends aligned? Or what you think they should be but often aren’t. Especially when you’re starting off with a new brand/company.

Brands have various products, lines, backstories, tone of voice. And it changes, not every thing is on the site or social media. I use Claude, honestly I’m not some Ai guru, i have to put in a lot of time to get a few lines of copy that align with the brand/intent. I am picky, and type A.

Is there a better way? If you have tips or a workflow that I should be doing to get better more consistent results overtime please share.
