So I thought my Dad's issues were frequency of urination and burning, but he was up all night feeling WIRED like someone injected him with steroids. This was kindof combined with anxiety but had a different more stimulating effect. This took place on the second night after his first treatment.

I have spent hours searching for this sort of response to BCG being a side effect. It would make sense to me that with the body suddenly mounting a huge immunological attack on the created toxicity in the bladder that perhaps an adrenaline response or immune response might leave a patient feeling wired, but I can't find a single person who has experienced this.

Any patients experience this??

My Dad is waking up every 2-3 hours during the night with the urge to urinate and not getting any sleep .. the AZO doesn't seem to be helping. Has anyone been helped with Oxytrol? I read a study that it could make things worse. Any other suggestions?

His first treatment was Friday and he was 100% fine until Saturday night. Thank you in advance for any insights. I'm his daughter and I moved in with him to care for him during his series of BCG treatments and I feel awful seeing him so exhausted
