I'm looking to gift my dad a nice watch and would love to tap into the expertise of this sub. I’ve checked out the pinned recommendation list, but I'm hoping to get some specific suggestions based on his profile.

Here is what I'm looking for:

• Budget: Under ₹20k
• Movement: Open to both Quartz (for hassle-free daily wear) or Automatic (if there's a standout piece in the budget).
• Style: This will mostly be for [Daily wear / Office wear / Formal occasions]. He usually prefers Leather straps.
• Dial: Something clean and highly legible.

I want to stick to proper watchmaker brands (Seiko, Citizen, Casio, Titan, etc.) and skip the fashion brands.

Also, I'm currently based in Hyderabad, Kannur and Bangalore. If anyone has recommendations for specific offline boutiques (like an Ethos, Helios, or local Authorized Dealers) that offer good discounts, please let me know!
