Hey everyone,

I’m setting up my Ledger Nano X and a couple things have me hung up in the process.

I first unboxed the product which I bought directly from Ledger’s website. I was prompted to create a pin, which I did.

I then jotted down my 24 word seed phrase. Then I went through each word individually and confirmed them.

THEN I downloaded the app which apparently went from being called “Ledger Live” to “Ledger Wallet”.

Assuming this is correct so far, my questions are as follows:

I was first asked to CREATE a pin. It didn’t tell me what pin to use, just to create one from scratch. I did so. Is that okay?

After downloading the app I pressed “Restore With Your Secret Recovery Phrase”.

I’m now wondering, is it better to “Create a New Wallet”, or am I good to go ahead and “Restore With Your Secret Recovery Phrase”?

I’ve read that I should do a factory reset before moving forward. I know this is probably right here in front of me but how do I go about doing so?

Should I start from scratch since I set up the device prior to downloading the app or am I good to move forward?

Lastly, I read that it’s better to set it up on my actual computer because I can then transfer to my phone, which supposedly doesn’t work the other way around (phone to computer)….

Am I doing this correctly? Sorry for the noob questions. I just want to get this right the first time.
