Time to try a new fragrance. Suggestions ?
Hello! I’ve been thinking of trying new fragrances. I’ve been keeping miss dior (the pink bottle one) since about 2008-9 (I remember my first bottle was labeled Chèrie), the formula changed along with naming it just miss Dior (I know there’s another miss dior since 1947, it’s not that one, just to be clear). Even thought it had changed over the years, I kept it as a daily fragrance. I started to alternate between Dior and Amour by Kenzo, since 2014. I like how different these fragrances are, so I can choose depending on how I’m feeling that day or weather.
This year I want to find a new daily fragrance for me.
The problem is I’m very sensitive to smell. My bf says its my superpower😂 - not always a good thing though since it can trigger migraine crisis. I’ve been trying to identify and avoid fragrances I already know gives me headaches, obviously. I think it might be associated with white flowers, it was very memorable for me how Armani code for her that my mom sprinkled in her arm on a room far from me at home made me nauseated and heavy headed almost immediately. Midnight poison makes me sneeze a lot but doesn’t trigger headaches. Hypnotic poison is waaaay too sweet, my mom has had a bottle for over 20 years now an it’s almost full because none of us are able to wear it. We like the scent, but we have to spray one single puff in a cotton ball and slightly touch our skin if we really really really want it, but its usually not worth it cause it can also trigger migraines. J’adore is well tolerated and I like it, but I don’t feel very comfortable for a daily use. I’m looking for something else.
I avoid parfum in general (I tend to keep the parfum fragrances I tolerate for special events) and prefer eau de toilette due to this sensitivity and daily-like purpose I’m seeking.
I like dolce & gabbana light blue a lot, I’ve had a few bottles.
Other fragrances I like (and tolerate, lol) are CK one, eau par Kenzo (the ice block bottle), l’aqcua di gio (both for her and for him), Burberry the beat for her…
Soooo, based on all that… any suggestions you think I should try? I’ve been wanting to test Valentino born in Rome yellow dream. What do you think?
