Battery- Is the premium Samsung battery worth the extra cost?
so im just debating on which battery would offer better performance and range.
First choice is a Samsung 60v 30ah batt, with 50E cells. The Datasheet for 50E cells state they are rated at a max continuous discharge rate of 9.8A
6P x 9.8A = max output of 58.8 Amps.
Second choice is a Generic 60v 40ah, 21700 generic cells, with a max discharge of 100 Amps (50a per current).
The second option is $150 less then the Samsung bat, also has a higher rating on amp and max capacity, but im guessing with that added it will be heavier.
The battery im using is a 60v 27ah 18650 cell batt, so i know either one will be a upgrade, but just not sure which one i should get.
I know the risk of the generic batt, but recent BMS tech has been 100x better and i haven't heard of any fires breaking out from batts in the recent history.
