My cat is 5 years old and had PU surgery after his second UO. He is a male neutered indoor cat. He came home with normal signs of healing but was overall acting normal. Sleeping off anesthesia but exploring his healing area. It’s been 8 days and i’m worried he’s not healing properly. He is trying to lick more than usual (he has a cone) and purring excessively. i have given him paper litter, i think he’s been using the restroom regularly. I was with him for the first three days of healing but had to leave for a business trip, he was looked after by my family who I live with.
