Hi!

My cat Mochi is a 2 year old British Shorthair; I recently bought a wire feather toy for her and her siblings to play with (2 other cats, from the same litter). Every time I bring this one specific toy out, she gags and wretches after chasing it. There's no obvious smells I can detect.

She's not usually a playful cat, but she does play with this toy. Her brother and sister and jumping off the walls playing with it with no issues. Could she just be getting over-excited/exerting herself? I have her booked in for her yearly check up next week, but wondering if I should even bring it up. She's a perfectly healthy weight for her breed and size (4.8kg), and no history of illness.
