My A/C recently stopped working and the check engine light came on.

I immediately researched the CARB warranty (I’m in a CARB state) for 150k/15 yrs

The dealer said my compressor and condenser both need to be replaced. Compressor they’re saying is covered under the extended warranty but NOT the condenser which will cost ~$1200.

Does this sound accurate? I saw compressor clearly outlined in the manual as part of the emissions warranty.
