my dads diagnosis has left him unable to work
Hello, my name is Kayla, and I’m asking for just a moment of your time. My dad was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, and he’ll be starting aggressive chemotherapy and radiation soon. Because of this, he won’t be able to work for a while.
My dad has raised me on his own since I was a baby (until he met my stepmom a few years ago) He’s also our only source of income, since my stepmom is a full-time caregiver for my autistic little brother. With him unable to work, we’re facing the possibility of not being able to afford our home.
I know not everyone can donate, and I truly understand. Even just taking the time to read this means so much. My dad is the kindest person, and he’s already dealing with so much and I’m just trying to help him in any way so that he can focus on getting better rather than stressing. I am still working on applying for jobs to pull in money.
