Not a hardcore gamer. Gaming is secondary.

Good Hinge, metal top or body if possible, good thermals, No touch screen, reliable build, touch pad can be a little large as I am used to macbooks.

I am a Mechanical Engineering 3rd year in India. I want to buy a gaming laptop for CAD and ANSYS and other mechanical Softwares which I might use later and don't know now. I wanted to know the GPU requirement. What nvidia card, processor, and how much RAM would be the ideal so that I don't purchase something OVERKILL.
