I really want to read The Fables of Erlking Wood by Juni Ba but I have no way of getting this book without paying way too much for shipping. So I’m probably going to settle and read something else by Ba. I don’t care much about the premise of Monkey Meat or Boy Wonder so I was thinking of Djeliya because I have never read a graphic novel inspired by East/Central or West African folklore, stories or culture.

Which brings me to this topic: What are some of the best graphic novels with East/Central or West African folklore, stories or culture? Preferably created by local artists but not necessarily.
