Falling asleep faster or by himself, how to?
I have fed my almost 2yo son to sleep since he was a few months old, after he first only slept in the carrier while walking/standing.
He’ll sleep much faster in the car or stroller now, it takes far over 30 minutes feeding in bed, and in stroller or car it’s only 5-10 minutes. He will even say in bed that he wants the stroller or car.
It’s getting really frustrating and I’ve tried going to bed later or tiring him out and everything. We have a pretty solid routine, but he will keep chatting, fussing, wanting to read, it just takes aaaages and I’m tired of it.
So please, are there some experciended parents with brilliant ideas: how can I make it either faster or find a way he’ll fall asleep in bed by himself?
I’m watching him on the camera in the stroller right now. He actually woke up from his nap, looked around, even said ‘mama’ but resettled and fell back asleep on his own.
At night he sleeps next to me and wakes up 2-5 times, and I need to feed him back to sleep every time.
