Title. I'm a returning Magic player who has played the game on and off since the 90s, and played competitively since Mirroden. I played something like 10 games today in silver rank and it was almost nothing but some form of landfall. I'm running budget blight goblins because I don't have a very deep collection yet, and these decks are pretty close to unbeatable if they get an even remotely decent start. First question, what are these people with completed tier 1 decklists full of mythics and rares doing in siiver rank? Second question, does anyone have any tips? Is there a budget deck that has any better chance against these decks? Thanks.
