Hello - I'm very lucky to have a stack of John Lewis gift vouchers from my baby shower and I was thinking about investing in a breast pump.

I'm 33 weeks so baby is not here yet and it's my first so all of this is new to me.

I'm hoping to breastfeed but also express so my partner / family can feed the baby too. All my friends and close family have formula fed - only my partner's sister breast feeds and that is exclusively on the boob. So I don't have many people to ask.

My gut says I would prefer to have a 'hands-free' discreet option (I still have a bit of a 'milking a cow' hang-up over the idea of it) however I know these are mainly recommended as secondary, on-to-go options and that the wired ones generally get you a better yield. At the end of the day I think I knowing I am getting the most milk for my baby will overcome and weird feeling I have about any wires to begin with, so I'm open to all types.

I wonder if anyone can give me advise on the models John Lewis offer. I have about £200 to spend, which is the biggest buy for baby yet as I've been getting a lot of stuff second hand so far!

My main questions are whether I should get a single or double pump, and if any of the models below are particularly stand out in terms of features they have that others don't which will make everything easier/more comfortable. Also please tell me if I should just get a manual pump for the time being to figure things out before spending the money as this is also on my mind!
