Hi everyone! A few years ago, I built this deck fueled by my obsession with Black Rock Shooter, and I just realized I should probably upload it to Google Drive in case any other BRS fans into Commander might be interested.
My initial goal was to create a highly thematic project, prioritizing card types, effects, and mechanics that fit each character’s personality. Regarding the art, I originally wanted to use only Huke’s illustrations, but since there wasn't enough material for a full deck, I included some of his other characters (both original and existing) along with official art from the games and anime. Because of this, rather than a pure B★RS deck, I’d describe it more as a Huke/B★RS tribute deck.
Mechanically, it’s a 5-color Ramp build with a few heavy hitters that can hold their own in higher-power brackets. I’ve also included some cool cards in the sideboard (mostly transform lands) specifically for those who want to swap things out and play at a more casual, lower-power level.
