A different scenario for the red/blue choice
There is a pandemic going on, and a lot of people may die. Two vaccines are available:
Red vaccine: extremely efficient. All those who take this vaccine will live, no matter what.
Blue vaccine: extremely inefficient. It will only work if at least half the population takes this vaccine. Otherwise, everyone who didn't take the red vaccine will die.
