Among the largest buttons on the driver’s arm rest is the bottom one, the child-proof lock. I was constantly hitting it with my arm, and locking in a back-seat passenger. I don’t have any children in my life so I just wanted to disable it. Here’s how, on a 2022 (I think it works up to 2025 but YYMV):
First, make sure the lock is OFF (the light is off). Turn the car off. Go to the fuse panel on the driver’s side, under the dash. You should see a panel of 5 rows, 9 fuses in each row, and a 6th row with 3 fuses. If so, pull the TOP LEFT fuse. The button will still light up, but the doors and windows remain operable! (If you missed step 1, and did this with the light ON, you probably just disabled the ability to turn it OFF. Start over.
If the lock is on when you start the car you’ll get an error on the dash. Just push the button again to turn it off until the next time you rest your arm on the armrest.
Oh, and if you want to test it, open BOTH DOORS in the back before closing yourself in! (Unless you’re more limber than I and can crawl up into the front seat.)
