1st Meeting after biopsy and diagnosis.
Hello all. I can’t tell you how helpful this site is! This is the good side of the internet. I have an appointment tomorrow with my doctor that did the biopsy. I have no idea what questions, other than sexual health ones, that I should be asking. I had two spots on the biopsy that concerned them. One a Gleason 3+3=6 and the other, more concerning, a 5+4=9. I’m 58 and in good health. No signs of this other than elevated PSA. I’m trying to keep up with all the acronyms and probably have 40 tabs on my browser open to keep finding out what they mean.
My main question is , what do I need to be asking? It sounds like some have had great docs to start and some who have had to really fight for themselves. I’ve always trusted what the doctors say so I’m worried that I’ll just blindly accept their path of treatment without knowing what’s best for me. This message board seems to have great info, but I’m overwhelmed at all the info. Thanks so much.
