Ok so idk if I’m dumb or what’s going on here but I recently got a Beatport advanced subscription and have been streaming songs with it on Rekordbox with my GRV6.

For some reason when I mix in a song sometimes the drums just aren’t there. If I restart rekordbox and load up that track again, it plays totally fine with the drums. Does anyone know what this issue comes from? I have a MacBook Pro M4 with 16gb of ram so I hope that’s not the issue, but I honestly can’t think of any other reason why it would be doing this. Also, I checked the stems anytime this has happened and the drums were still turned on so I don’t think that’s the issue either.

If anybody has a solution for this or at least an explanation that would be great. It’s very frustrating because it totally ruins my mixes.

I’m buying a new car and have a roughly $36,000 budget. I’m a college student and currently drive a ‘08 Altima lmao. I’ve always wanted a manual, but my options are limited due to price and the fact that I need a decent sized car to fit stuff like golf clubs and other things in as a daily. Strictly talking about 2026 models as well.

Anyways, a manual sounds like a lot of fun and I’ve driven my friend’s Fiesta ST a couple of times and it was a blast. The issue I have with the WRX is that the interior is lowkey plain, the infotainment system is supposedly buns, and I’m ngl the rear of the car is just not it compared to previous generations.

That’s what brings me to the K5, which is the opposite of the WRX in like every way. Way more technology, way better looking interior and infotainment system, but also not manual and not AWD, and I live in Michigan so I drive in a lot of snow sometimes (though I’ve been fine driving the FWD Altima that doesn’t even have traction control my whole life).

I will also note that I like the overall design of the K5 a teeny bit more atm, just because the rear is more tolerable to me, but at the same time like cmon a WRX is a car I’ve dreamt about owning since I was a kid. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO RUIN THE BACK OF IT. Also, it’s staying stock because I’m leasing it, so that’s a big factor that comes into play.

I’m thinking maybe I should just test drive them both and see which one I like better, but if anybody wants to share their thoughts or insights, please do because im very indecisive about these things and I don’t want to regret my decision. And if there’s any other car recommendations at that price point I should check out lmk as well.
