Is this a good deal?
We are in the market for an electric car to be a daily driver for my husband. He doesn't have a long commute, but drives maybe 500 miles a week going to different job sites, kid pickups, etc. We love Toyota (and hate Elon Musk) so we are looking at getting a used 2024 BZ4X XLR with 11,000 miles on it. The price is $25,599 which includes a $599 dealer doc fee. Does this seem like a fair deal? We plan to use the included trickle charger to charge at home every night. However, we don't have enough garage space for him to park in the garage. Are there any issues with charging in your driveway? We have had electric scooters, but this would be our first electric car. Would charging nightly be enough to top it off? We could install a faster charger I suppose, but obviously the less money we spend the better.
Thanks for any input! We are looking at one tomorrow morning. I have read many posts, but would love to know about any issues and what others think about this being a good fit for us.
