I'm out of glue sticks, but don't worry...I have 20 American flags

We have ten days left. My second graders have decided that now is the time to use up all of the glue sticks making table-top fencing for their school supplies out of erasers, break their pencils, and leave markers strewn about with no caps. I think there is visible steam coming out of my ears!

We don't get a budget. I've had to beg, borrow, and steal to get what I needed this year from the hidden supply stash for students in need.

But don't worry, today we received a classroom set of small American flags so we can take a school photo out front to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country. We have money for that bullshit, but nothing for classrooms, supplies, curriculum, or a CPI raise for staff. The idiocy never ends.

They should use the AI tech that they keep pushing on us to put in flags after the fact 🤦.
