When I was a young teen I got my first shoujo comic and I’m desperately trying to remember what it was called. The plot was pretty average which makes it harder to find- it’s about a young girl whose father marries into a rich family so she gets to go to a very fancy school. The school has a ranking system (I think bronze, silver, and gold) based on how much money you’ve donated to the school, and every rank had more perks than the last, including being able to walk through the school’s beautiful indoor garden
She’s at the very bottom of the rank and has a crush on the highest ranking guy in school. He was her childhood crush, as he wrote a book that she loved growing up. When she finally meets him, he’s much colder and more distant than she remembers, but sometimes when she sees him he seems like a completely different person since he’s randomly super nice and romantic
I think it turns out he has a twin brother or something who’s going to school for him, I don’t remember, but I desperately need to read past the second book. I vaguely remember a line in the manga that goes like “and by morning… I’d fallen under your spell [guy’s name]“
Does literally anybody know what I’m talking about? I feel crazy
