Like look at their civilization. It's clearly not as advance. So whenever Dabura says "closer to the speed of light", how does he know if he really is going at like 90% or 10% SoL? Like he might be at 5% SoL and think thats "near".
He accelerates faster and faster, and that's mostly how he judges his speed, but does he really know how fast he is in comparison to actual light speed? I don't think so.
