That's basically it, I've been thinking on moving from Windows to Linux since the last year, but before doing a complete transition, I wanna experiment on a spare laptop I have. I know there are a TON of different Linux branches/distributions, so, which ones would you recommend for a newbie like me? :3
To avoid misunderstandings, I'm almost 17yo in my last year on school, I barely know how to make a simple website, and I'll be using that laptop for school stuff besides experimenting. :3
Edit: Okay, this post is getting more attention than I expected, so, I will clarify some things. First of all, at least at my school, we don't use digital stuff besides classroom, which I can manage from my home just fine. :3
Secondly, I have a PC besides my laptop, which is my main device. That's why I said "spare laptop", cuz it's a laptop I don't really use besides very rare ocassions. That also means that I don't have any important stuff in there, so I'll be okay about setting up Linux as the main OS. :3
