2 sessions in and already at 50% of my weekly limit
So I'm on the Team plan and I just checked my usage stats. After only two full Claude Code sessions, I've already burned through 50% of my weekly "All models" limit. It resets Monday. It's Tuesday morning.
At this rate I'm looking at maybe 3–4 productive sessions per week before I hit the wall. That's not a lot when you're working on real projects.
And here's the thing this doesn't feel normal. A few weeks ago I could comfortably work through most of the week without even thinking about the weekly limit. Now I'm hitting 50% by Tuesday after two sessions? Something has changed. I don't have hard data to back this up, but the gut feeling is strong enough that I had to post about it.
Did Anthropic silently reduce the weekly limits or change how usage is calculated? I don't recall any announcement, no email it just feels like one day the limits quietly got tighter. Has anyone else noticed this recently, or am I just imagining it?
I'm not trying to be dramatic here I genuinely like Claude Code and the product is great. But if the limits are being adjusted without any communication, that's frustrating. Especially on a paid Team plan where you're relying on this for actual work.
Would love to hear if others are seeing the same thing, or if there's something in my setup (maybe large CLAUDE.md, big codebase) that could explain the sudden spike in usage.
