[SOLUTION] HOW TO FIX GIGABYTE MONITOR STUCK IN BURN IN MODE

I have a Gigabyte G34WQC monitor and had been stuck in burn-in mode for two weeks. Just now, I have finally resolved the problem and is currently typing this using said monitor. Here, I will describe the method I had used to fix it and my dad's opinion and knowledge on the problem.

1. REMOVE ALL POWER OF THE MONITOR.
From my dad's words, there is a battery-like component within the monitor that will keep it in burn-in mode as long as its active. Removing and draining the battery would automatically trigger the reset function of the monitor, and the monitor screen should be completedly black.

To remove the power source, remove the three-pronged plug in the monitor (and other plugs for good measure). If you do not have any other spare monitors that you can use, you would have to wait until you can use the PC again. However, if you have a tablet and a windows OS (PC), it is best if you install SuperDisplay on both and use the tablet as another screen instead.

2. PLUG BACK ALL COMPONENTS INTO PLACE.
When you power back on the monitor, the monitor will initially re-enter the burn-in mode. Ignore this and turn back on your PC (make sure the monitor is connected to the display port and not just the power). After your PC enters the loading screen of your OS, your gigabyte monitor should automatically show a normal display of said OS.

After confirming that you are able to access the monitor menu without turning off the monitor, follow this comment (by u\J3bu5Cru57): https://www.reddit.com/r/gigabytegaming/comments/j0fepc/comment/gbkpxkp/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

To navigate the factory settings, make use of the control pad like a console controller. Up and down to choose the item you want to toggle, right to confirm and up and down again to toggle. Press left consecutely until the factory menu disappears.

As soon as I removed it I made an audible gag at the filter - the areas which the front fans were located were covered fully with dust, and after washing and blow-drying it with a gentle setting there’s a visible lightened mark at where the build-up was. Seems like the build-up was so bad that it got hit with the tan-line treatment for at least quite a while now.
