I'm not sure this is the place to find answers to this issue, 'cause God knows DealerCONNECT level 1 support isn't. I haven't been able to find a sub for DC.
I'm the IT guy at my dealership, and it seems that about every couple of months DealerCONNECT disables a handful of our SIDs. Today is was a finance manager, our warranty clerk, a rental associate, a service BDC agent. I do all of the quarterly user audits on time. When I look at the audit trail, the deletions have been done by "TASK8404456," not me. When I call support, to ask about it, the first try to blame it on me, and when I show them that it's TASK8404456 doing it according to the audit trail they say they don't know who it is, but insist that its not them. I'd get it if it were for employees that don't use DC very often, but these users are in it every day, all day.
My best guess is that it's an automated task with the only purpose being to scream-test dealer admins because they don't trust our actual quarterly audit. But even that doesn't make much sense.
