I don't know why but if someone on a scooter or motorcycle attempts to wear a helmet when among friends he gets teased for it, getting comments like 'abe mitthe' and shit.

I was at college for a gathering yesterday and when we were leaving, a guy from a seperate group which my group was standing near was about to leave on a scooter. Poor dude wore his helmet and got hit by a barrage of insults, so he took it off and left -- and I kid you not, around 30 metres away this dude lost balance and fell. He wasnt going that fast luckily so he got away with a few scratches on his arm and a small cut on his forehead. I was just thinking what would have happened if he had been going faster

Just goes to show how dangerous peer pressure can be
