Question to food industry companies and machine manufacturers in Poland — what frustrates you most when outsourcing stainless steel welding work?

Hi,

I'm reaching out specifically to people from the Polish market.

I have over 10 years of welding experience in the food industry and I run a stainless steel welding services company in Poland. Before I go further with the business, I want to understand what your companies struggle with when working with subcontractors.

I'm writing especially to two groups:

1. Food industry companies — meat processing plants, dairies, breweries, industrial bakeries — companies that outsource work on process installations, pipelines, tanks, or modifications of stainless steel production lines.

2. Manufacturers of machines and equipment for the food industry — companies that produce machines themselves and sometimes outsource part of the work (stainless steel components, subassemblies, prefabrication).

Three questions:

  • What are your biggest frustrations when outsourcing stainless steel work?
  • What takes the most of your time when working with welding subcontractors?
  • If you could solve one problem with suppliers of such elements — what would it be?

Feel free to reply in the comments or via DM. If you'd prefer a short call or Zoom — I'll happily adjust to your schedule, 10 minutes is enough.

I'm not looking for clients here — I'm looking for knowledge before I move forward with the business. Thanks in advance to everyone willing to share.

Jakub
