Just got a PRS SE Custom 24 with the flame maple top in this slate blue. I noticed that when I move it in the light, the two bookmatched halves catch the light differently. One side gets lighter and more figured while the other gets darker, then it reverses depending on the angle.

The flame lines seem to match up pretty well, so I’m not worried about the center seam. I’m just wondering if this reverse light/reflection effect is normal with these guitars? Not sure if I should exchange it for another one.
