I get to intern for 2 months at an EPC company in india that manufactures hydrogen, CO2, argon, etc.

I've been placed in the rotary and turbo machinery department. How do I not look like a thicky thicky dumb dumb on my first day.

Suggestions, advice, book recommendations are all welcome.
