i recently received an offer to study at queens health science program, which notoriously has a high rate of grads going to Canadian med schools. however, it is definitely more on the pricier side for an undergrad since i’d need to live away from home.

on the other side, if i stay in toronto and attend a school nearby (say york or tmu), i could save a lot of money and possibly put it towards going away to an international med school if canada doesn’t work out.

is queens worth it the high matriculation rate? i heard the flipped classroom and high gpa curves would help me.

has anyone started declining offers they don’t want? does it help someone else get a spot if you decline earlier? i was just going to wait for all mine to expire but idk
