I’ve been trying to fix my skin but honestly most acne products just end up drying me out or making my skin feel irritated.

Now I’m trying to move toward more gentle skincare that still helps with:

  • acne
  • pores
  • overall glow

Recently saw a rose-based product that claims pore minimising + acne control, and it looks more hydrating than typical acne treatments.

Do these kinds of formulas actually work?
Or should I stick to actives like salicylic acid only?

Would love recommendations for something that balances acne + glow without damaging the skin barrier.

I’ve been seeing a lot of skincare products using rose extracts lately, especially ones that claim to help with acne and pores.

I always thought rose was more for fragrance or soothing, but apparently it can also help with calming irritated skin and balancing oil?

I came across a rose-based gel/cream (kind of like a yogurt texture) that focuses on acne control + pore minimizing, and the concept seemed interesting.

Has anyone here actually tried rose skincare for acne-prone skin?
Did it help with breakouts or is it more for hydration/glow?
