My 2010 chevy Malibu lt has these 2 codes. The rpm would be high and not go into 2nd or 3rd gears. One day, I stopped at a red light and it wouldn’t move. The car would rev up but not move forward nor reverse. I had to call a tow truck and just left it sitting on my driveway untouched. Fast forward a year later, I decided to change the transmission fluid and it drove for a couple feet then stopped.

I’m not sure if its worth fixing it or just sell it as is. I called multiple mechanics and majority are just trying to sell me a new transmission. One mechanic said it could be the TCM. Any advice? Could it actually be a shift solenoid or new transmission?
