Hey all,
Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.
My fiancé’s son (early 20s) was in a really bad car accident a few years ago and is now paraplegic. He used to be super active, so the adjustment has been… a lot. Recently he’s gotten into gaming, and we thought a retro arcade setup might be a fun way to lean into that.
Problem is, a full standing cabinet isn’t practical for him, so we’ve been looking for a tabletop/cocktail-style arcade that works from a seated position.
Everything we’re finding is either:
crazy expensive (like $1k+), or
looks kinda sketchy
We did see one site called Creator Shirts selling one for around $250, but it honestly feels too good to be true. Has anyone actually bought from them?
If anyone has:
-budget-friendly recommendations
-places to check for used units
…. or even alternative setups that might work better
I’d really appreciate it.
Just trying to find something fun and accessible for him without getting scammed in the process 😅
