I saw that Taro flavored milk was widely available recently in convenience stores in PRC (Chengdu, Xiamen) and was hoping I can continue my taro milk addiction while I’m in SG. Any leads?

Edit: adjusted to Taro flavored milk! Yes I know to get actual taro milk have to fly to Taiwan for that !

Fellow swimmers and triathletes!

Are there any reliable swimming pools in Chengdu to do proper swim training?

I’ve found two promising ones:

1.Mengzhuiwan - I’m staying near Wenshu Monastery station and this came up. Dianping says it’s open after 10am but I’ve seen others say it’s opened at 6:30?
2. CF FitPark - it’ll be a bit of travel on Line 1 but it’s part of a gym and it’s 50m so looks promising? I found this on Dianping which I’m still figuring out how to navigate as a foreigner!

Any feedback would be great!

PS: if you can suggest any gyms that would be good too. I’m visiting from Japan for 5 days so excited to also eat some good food there too

I travel from Japan to Singapore pretty often (every ~1-2 months) and usually use the time to train for Ironman + explore food.

I normally stay around Marine Parade. The AF there is decent, but on my last trip they removed all the spin bikes, which wasn’t ideal.

Any recommendations for Anytime Fitness locations with good spin bike setups? Bonus if they’re near good hawker centres. I love pairing workouts with food exploring.

I’m asking because I’m open to trying gyms across different areas. I usually swim at Katong Park or ODBC Aquatic Centre, so also open to pool suggestions.

If there are any good running or triathlon groups worth checking out, would love to hear about those too!
