Reality
I’ve been guilty of the wishful thinking, going back and fourth to continue to reach out-maybe it would get somewhere this time. Right? Maybe she would change her mind. She loved me once, I’ll get her to see me different this time. The truth is hard to hear but it needs to be said. If they have ways to contact you, if they know how to reach you and they choose not to, if there is silence day after day without a word from them, there is your answer; they made their choice. They have that right as a human to decide what isn’t for them anymore. Even if it’s not you. It still stings some days don’t get me wrong but man loving someone is just hoping they’re happy- somewhere out there. Hope this helps at least one of you.
