Just got off the Disney Fantasy and this is my overall review:
- Cast Members and Service 10/10
The cast members are legitimately amazing and really made the trip. Friendly, accommodating, funny, attentive. They earned every single penny of tip and more. Please please please tip your cast members especially on DCL they work so hard to make us happy! It really set the tone every single day we were there. For crew member lurkers Sheldon, Dave, Nei Nei, Hazel, Milan, Tinash yall are beautiful souls.
- Food 5/10
The food was generally terrible I'm sorry. I gave it high marks on the ship survey so that it wouldn't affect my servers who were stellar but it tasted bad. Even the shrimp had an odd flavor. Anything pasta related was literally water downed tomato sauce no exaggeration. The juices from the machines were also watered down terribly. Every single sit down meal was way way way below average. The only shining beacon was shrimp curry and Indian food that my server offered every night and it was the only thing flavorful. Even the desserts were terrible. My mind was blown at the crème brulee being terrible at Royal palace. Something I've had on DW and it was delicious. It was soooooo disappointing and also so limited. The food is bland and they need to revamp asap. It was the WORST part of the ship. Room service cast members amazing. Room service food, mediocre. Mind you I LOVED the cruise but the food was yuck.
- Cleanliness 10/10
Every single spot was CLEAN. We parked next to a carnival ship and just the outside was shocking. Disney maintained this ship so well, I couldn't even say it was dated. I thought I'd have fomo not getting on the Destiny but absolutely not! If you want to save some money Fantasy is a SOLID choice.
- Castaway Cay 7/10
There is a disclaimer for this one, the weather wasn't so great and the water was FREEZING. The Island was otherwise beautiful and well maintained. If the weather had behaved it would've certainly scored higher. Food was just ok. The ribs and upside
down pineapple cake were great though. Didn't do excursions because I intend on taking another cruise and waiting til my kiddos are older. Will go again and re-review.
- Lookout Cay 10/10
I would literally pick Fantasy over Destiny every single time just because of this island. Absolutely stunning. This island isn't meant for constant busy body excursions and thats insanely perfect for me. Me and my kids snorkeled with our regular goggles and no special equipment around the reefs and it was so cool. If you are a strong and I mean STRONG swimmer, you can save money on snorkel gear, don regular goggles and go. Me and my 11 year old were literal mermaids that way. Food was better here for some reason(?), ribs stand out and plantain's and paella.
- Nassau 2/10
I tried to have an open mind but....terrible. I had to get off because I wanted my mom to see as she was with me and didn't want her to miss out on anything but it was overstimulating and overpriced. The people are generally unfriendly. And the vibes were off. We got some trinkets for friends and immediately went back to the ship. I do believe however that booked excursions from Disney, that take you far from that environment are worth it. Might give it a second try in the future and do an excursion just to give it a fair shot. But for now 2/10.
- Ship Entertainment 9/10
All the shows were great but I don't recommend trying to do EVERYTHING. It's extremely exhausting. Pick a handful of things that you think really matter and stick with that. This could easily become the parks on a boat and I personally was trying to avoid that. You are on vacation remember that. Don't feel fomo if you miss anything. Enjoy what you are able to do. Especially on shorter sailings.
- Kids Clubs 10/10
Highly recommend dropping them kids off and having fun. My kids LOVED it and never wanted to leave. At first they were hesitant but they definitely loved it. Do not feel bad. Do not feel guilty. They are experiencing Disney magic in there. Kids were always safe never had any issues.
- Adult area 10/10

Not sure if I missed anything but feel free to ask.
Just to add: do not over pack. There were tons of things I didn't need to take or even things I didn't do. Aka fishing thing, door magnets etc. Do it if you can but it won't make or break your trip.
If traveling with kids and you can afford it arrive two days ahead not one. We were way too tired even though we arrived a day ahead. Running around withs kids is exhausting when traveling. Even with older kids an extra day would've helped us.
Tl:DR Disney Fantasy is amazing overall 8.5 out of 10. Lost points for food and nassau.
