Beautiful illustration of shrinkflation
Black Books was way ahead of its time. (A slimy landlord keeps pushing a wall farther into Fran’s apartment, decreasing its size but telling her she’s nuts when she notices it.) Disheartening, though, that its dystopian and ridiculous subplot is now a perfect illustration of corporate behavior in America.
