i'm very aware of the progressive values towards hijab here, and that there's some fair explanations, evidence, and research into why a woman may not be obligated to cover her hair
however there are muslim women who acknowledge that but still prefer to cover their hair anyway, or they just find the evidence for covering hair to be more logical to them. so, i'd really appreciate it if people told me how we can respond to those who might say 'hijab is inherently misogynistic', because although we tell them that women don't wear hijab for the sake of men and it's for their own spirituality, they keep saying how it's unfair anyway that a man doesn't need to cover his hair but a woman should
could we say that Allah SWT would KNOW that muslim women would suffer and fall victim to how most parts of the world put a woman's value in their beauty, or maybe they'd take part in beauty standards (created FOR the male gaze btw) and have men profit off them if they ever show off? i know simply uncovering hair can't result in all of this, because i've heard that it'd be preferable for a woman to still cover her head even if she's bald or has a buzzcut haha.
i just want to know the wisdom behind it? because if i start saying it's because women want to respect themselves then ppl will start saying, so women who simply don't cover their hair don't respect themelves??
