Princess promotion update
So as some have expressed these “promotions “ seem more like Scam. In our case we got a promotion from a casino my wife likes. When she called she booked our “free” cruise. But nothing was clearly spelled out. And then we ended up paying $6000 for a $3696 cruise (balcony plus premier package). But you get all these future cruise discounts and hotel stays blah blah blah. But of course, the discounts are minimal, and still requires a lot of money. For example, if I were to book the achorage Marriott Downtown on my own it would be about 1200$ for two nights. If I used their 2 night stay promotion it would still cost me $1000. And then when you call it’s like they try to trick you to stay. Well my wife was able to get the last payment credited back to our CC (chase southwest priority). And now is in the process of getting the entire 6000$ back which would be great. However, trying to rebook now is nearly impossible and much more expensive. So we may be postponing Alaska until 2027 if we do get the credit back. Hopefully people will see this and just book direct thru princess or a trusted travel agent. Princess promotions is a scam!
