So as we know, eri's quirk (at the time) was uncontrollable, as long as she has a hand on you she will keep rewinding you until you cease, so essentially what deku was doing is killing himself faster than eri can, which is an insane statement to say

other than that, this deku is probably the scariest version to fight because he essentially has no limitations at all, he was boxing with the big leagues at 45% WHILE getting injured, so imagine him at his max and basically infinitely or as long as eri keeps touching him

at any point in the fight if eri unexpectedly got off of deku while he was fighting we would see repercussions worse than his fight with final ofa (which was again saved by eri)

and to add more salt to injury he was fighting a budget ofa+shigaraki, a single touch wouldve decimated him and eri, this fight alone puts him up there with the greats, life ending risks with insane rewards.
