Hello, I have revised my family roadtrip and would appreciate feedback. We live in Edmonton, Canada and are taking a long roadtrip after watching Ryan Trehans 50 states in 50 days. Kids are ages 10 and 12. Total will be 24 days/23 nights. Would appreciate any feedback, tips, etc.
fly to houston
caddo lake the first 2 nights
to broken bow (stay at treetopia Airbnb)
to Amarillo for a stop over
to Colorado springs 2 nights, stop at garden of the Gods
To Estes park 2 nights, do RMNP
To Glenwood springs 2 nights
To Ouray for 1 night
To Telluride for 2 nights
To Moab for 3 nights (Arches & Canyonlands)
To Capitol Reef 1 night
To Beryl, Utah 1 night (stay at outpost X)
To Springdale area 2 nights (do Zion for 2 days)
To East Zion area 2 nights (one more day exploring, 1 day at Bryce)
Then Drive to Vegas and fly home
I realize there is some backtracking after our stop at Capitol Reef, but with a more direct route, we ended up at Outpost X on a Saturday night and it was twice the price. So I switched it up since the drives are not too long in that area.
