Something like the battle at Moonrise but on a larger scale with more difficulty.
I've searched but have not found anything, but I think something like this exists?

I started a new game and searched this question out of curiosity, and found no result, so today I found out and thought I would share!
>!I met with Estarion, Gale, Lae'zel & Shadowheart, and skipped the grove completely. When I heard Shadowheart say "there's yelling up above", I detoured to the blighted village. I cleared the entire goblin camp, killing the two leaders and knocking out Minthara. Minthara gave the option to reveal I know where the camp is - I believe that Shadowheart saying "there's yelling up above" is enough to flag my character as knowing that's the location of the grove. I don't think her saying this is skippable.!<
>!Shadowheart said this in this area, this is a bottleneck to the rest of the game. Halsin did say something like "only a crazy person would journey into a goblin camp", but the rest of his dialogue was relatively the same. !<
>!When he says "I'm the druid Halsin", the options are different, but his dialogue is all the same. I chose "I don't know who you are". I also peaked around the underdark but have not met Raphael. I believe meeting Raphael requires meeting Netti first. !<

TLDR: Nothing plays out different, just missed all the grove stuff.
