My 2015 veloster has 18" mags from factory and when I bought it second hand last year it had near new Supercat Sports tyres 225/40 R18 92y.

I occasionally need to travel on a section of dirt road (the wash board tyoe of dirt road) and the car vibrates badly and now I have permanent rattles in the car.

I have researched and found if I stay away from sports type tyres and go for a touring minded tyre it will make a small difference.

I am opting for Continental ContiUltra Contact UC7 but am wondering if I can go up a size to the 225/45 r18 instead of 225/40 or keep the 40s on the front amd put 45s on rear.

Has anyone put 225/45 r18s on their 2015 veloster and do they clear the guards when turning?

Would love photos if anyone has swapped them over.

Thanks kindly
