They did it repeatedly and out loud for everyone to hear. I never said anything remotely related to sex or gender and I did not treat them any differently than I would any other individual.

Edit: I was literally just asking a question about class material. It was only about class material. I didn't say anything else. Then the TA rails into me about not listening during class so I said they were being rude.

Edit #2: It was when I called them rude that I got called a sexist.
